Ultimate Weapons
Cloud:
Cloud's Ultimate weapon, The Ultima
Weapon, is obtained by defeating Ultima Weapon. Ultima Weapon is a monster
that appears over a lake near Junon somewhat late in Disc 2. Defeating
it is a bit tricky, though. When it appears over the lake, run into it
with the Highwind. It will attack you. Its most common attack is Ultima
Beam, but it can also cast Quega. After taking enough damage, it will fly
away. You will have to find it again by simply flying all over the World
Map until you see it. This can be the hardest part of defeating this thing.
When you find it again, repeatedly smash into it with the Highwind until
it starts moving in one direction without turning around. Eventually it
will stop moving and just sit there. Run into it again and it will attack
you. Again, it will run away after taking some damage. Now repeat the exact
same process and fight it again. It will again run away from you after
taking enough damage. If you find it again and smash into it 4-5 more times,
it will head to a spot over Cosmo Canyon and hover there. If you defeat
it one more time, it will explode and leave a crater. You will also get
Cloud's Ultimate Weapon.
Red XIII:
If you visit Cosmo Canyon in Disc 3, you will find out that Bunanhagen
is fatally ill. Before dying, he gives Red 13's Ultimate Weapon, the Limited
Moon, to him.
Barret:
His Ultimate Weapon, the Missing Score, is in a box on the stairs that
lead to the Mako Cannon (also known as the Sister Ray) in the raid on Midgar
City in Disc 2. He must be in your party or it won't be there.
Cid:
To get Cid's weapon, talk to the old man that is looking at the rocket
launch pad in rocket town (after you fire the rocket) three times and he'll
give you Cid's Ultimate Weapon, the Venus Gospel.
Yuffie:
Yuffie's Ultimate Weapon, The Conformer, is found in the sunken research
plane in the upper left corner on the lower level of the research room.
(The room is the door in the first hall with the Shinra emblem on it.)
The chest is VERY hard to see.

Tifa:
Tifa's Ultimate Weapon, The Premium Heart, can be found inside Midgar inside
the Wall Market inside the shack marked ITEM. Remember how a machine gun
fired at you when you tried to examine the computer in Disc 1? In Disc
2 or 3, it will give you the Premium Heart. To get into Midgar, you'll
need the Midgar Key. (see my secrets page)
Cait Sith:
Cait Sith's Ultimate Weapon, The HP Shout, is found in one of the lockers
on floor 64 in the Shinra Building. This weapon can only be gotten during
your raid on Midgar in Disc 2.
Aeris:
Aeris's Ultimate Weapon, The Princess Guard, is found in the passageway
marked IIII in the clock puzzle in the Temple of the Ancients in Disc 1.
