Level 4 Limit Manuals
Cloud: Cloud's Level 4 Break Manual, The Omnislash, is found in the Battle Square in the Gold Saucer. You must get 32000 Battle Points in one visit and trade them in for the manual.
Red XIII: To get Red 13's Level 4 Break Manual, The Cosmo Memory, you have to open the safe in the mansion in Nibelheim. (see the secrets page) You get his manual after beating the boss that attacks you.
Barret: To get Barret's Level 4 Break Manual, The Catastrophe, Go to North Corel in Disc 2 or 3 with Barret in your party. (I don't know if you have to save the town from the train or not.) There is a building on a small hill on the western side of town. A lady inside wearing a hat will give Barret his manual when you talk to her.
Tifa: To get Tifa's Level 4 Break Manual, The Final Heaven, go to Nibelheim in Disc 2 or 3 with Tifa in your party. Enter Tifa's house, (the biggest house on the right side of town) go upstairs, and go to the piano. Select the bottom option twice, and then play the Highwind Theme. This is how you play it: ( X=Cross, O=Circle, S=Square, T=Triangle, D=Down U=Up, R=Right, L=Left, all other buttons are as they appear in the controller. A plus sign means to press those two keys simultaneously.) X, S, T, L1+T, L1+S, X, S, T, L1+X, O, X, S, X, D, L, U, L1+T, L1+S, D, L, U, L1+X, R, D, L, D.
After playing this, Tifa will find a letter from Zangan with the Manual inside.
Cid: Cid's Level 4 Break Manual, The Highwind, is found inside the sunken research plane. (see the secrets page to see how to get there) The manual in in a chest inside the room with the trashed helicopter. I forget which chest it is, but I do remember that the chest is easy to find. Just open every chest n there.
Cait Sith: I don't believe Cait Sith has a Level 4 Break Manual because he doesn't go beyond his level 2 break, that slot machine. Please E-Mail me at  [email protected] if you have found it.
Vincent: As with his Ultimate Weapon, I have no idea where this is. Please E-Mail me at  [email protected] if you know where it is.
Yuffie: To get Yuffie's Level 4 Break Manual, you must first complete her sub-quest. (Yuffie's sub-quest starts when she steals all your materia when you walk around on the western continent. It's over when you get her to give it back.) After completing it, you can choose to have Yuffie fight five monsters in the pagoda in Wutai. You'll get her manual after beating the last one.
Aeris: Aeris's Level 4 Break Manual is the hardest break manual to get. You have to have fought and won over 100 battles, and the last two digits of the number of battles won must be the same. When you have this, talk to the sleeping man in a hidden cave on the Eastern Continent. (It's over a mountain directly west of Midgar, and you can figure out exactly how many wins you have by talking to the man.) If you have the right number of wins, he will wake up and give you the Mythril. Now you have to go all the way back to the small house on the penninsula south of the Gold Saucer. Give the Mythril to the man inside and then go upstairs and examine the metal lid at the end of the walkway. This is extremely hard to complete in the first disc because you don't have the Highwind yet. One thing to remember though, if you drive the Gold Saucer Buggy into Costa Del Sol, you can charter a ship to take you and the buggy over to the other continent. You can do the same in Junon Town.
